We use a Booking Agreement which legally binds the act you book to perform at your event and includes various provisions you provide them in return.
The venue/event planner should provide the act with the following: a safe supply of electricity; security for the musicians and their property at the venue; a suitable performance area (with adequate shelter if outdoors); access to suitable, free parking facilities; adequate provision for access to the venue and performance area during set-up and pack-down; access to toilets, washing and changing facilities; and provision of a hot meal and soft drink for each member of the act.

If you cancel a confirmed booking on or before the date that occurs 45 days before the engagement, you will not be eligible for a refund. Please consult our detailed terms and conditions for more information.

At Music Agency London, transparency and fairness are at the core of our operations. We uphold industry-standard rates to ensure our musicians are paid what they truly deserve for their talent and hard work. Furthermore, our contractual arrangements are clear about the compensation details, thus ensuring there are no ambiguities. Our goal is to create a sustainable ecosystem where both the event planners and musicians feel valued and satisfied. If you have any specific queries regarding the payment structure, we’re always open to discussions and clarifications.
At Music Agency London, we take the safety and security of our acts and your event very seriously. While we ensure that all our acts have the necessary Public Liability Insurance to cover any incident related to their performance, it’s also important for the venue to have appropriate insurance coverage. This dual-level insurance approach mitigates potential risks and assures a safe and enjoyable experience for all parties involved. We highly recommend that event organisers confirm their venue’s insurance policies to avoid any unforeseen complications. As always, we’re here to provide guidance should you need any assistance.
We fully acknowledge the time, effort, and financial investment involved in honing one’s musical skills, be it through expensive tuition, high-quality equipment, or travel costs. As a musician himself, our founder intimately understands these challenges and is steadfastly dedicated to ensuring that our musicians are treated with the respect and fair compensation they deserve.
Our mission is to uplift musicians by orchestrating exceptional events. Through equitable remuneration, we aim to sustain the quality of their craft for the long term.

Music is an essential element of any event, but it’s equally important to consider how it interacts with your chosen venue. In particular, understanding the venue’s sound limitations can significantly influence your decision when booking a band.
For example, some venues have strict sound limiters in place to comply with noise control regulations. A loud pop band may struggle to deliver their usual electrifying performance under such constraints, preventing your guests from fully enjoying the experience and hindering the band’s ability to get everyone up and dancing.
To help you navigate this, we offer sound advice (quite literally) – if a venue’s sound limiter is set, it should be at least 85db for an acoustic act and 95db for a typical covers band. These parameters allow for the richness of the music to come through without violating venue policies.
